Terms & Conditions
Updated 5-21-26
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Prophet Scholar Academy, including our website, courses, training materials, digital resources, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing a course, accessing course content, or otherwise using the Academy, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the Academy or making a purchase.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Prophet Scholar Academy website, courses, digital materials, training resources, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Academy”). Prophet Scholar Academy is owned and operated by Wes Moore Enterprises, doing business as Prophet Scholar Academy. In these Terms, “Prophet Scholar Academy,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Wes Moore Enterprises and Prophet Scholar Academy.
By accessing the Academy, creating an account, purchasing a course, enrolling in a program, checking an acceptance box at checkout, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Academy.
By accessing the Academy, creating an account, purchasing a course, enrolling in a program, checking an acceptance box at checkout, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Academy.
2. WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT US
Prophet Scholar Academy provides online biblical, theological, and ministry-training courses and related digital resources. Questions about these Terms may be submitted through our Contact Page.
Legal notices, refund requests, billing questions, and support requests should be sent to the contact page listed above unless we provide another method on the Academy website or checkout page.
Legal notices, refund requests, billing questions, and support requests should be sent to the contact page listed above unless we provide another method on the Academy website or checkout page.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY
General
The Academy is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Academy only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for making sure that the Academy, the courses you select, and any certificate or training outcome offered through the Academy are appropriate for your purposes before you purchase or enroll. You are also responsible for maintaining the technology, internet access, browser, software, and device settings needed to access online course materials.
Men’s Ministry Focus and Certification Eligibility
Prophet Scholar Academy is primarily designed to equip Christian men for faithful leadership in the church, the home, and the broader culture. Unless a course or program page states otherwise, Academy courses are available to both men and women.
Enrollment in a course does not guarantee eligibility for every certificate, certification, endorsement, ministry-training designation, or future program offered by the Academy. Certain programs are designed for specific ministry purposes and may have additional eligibility requirements, including being offered to men only based on doctrinal and biblical convictions. Courses and programs with additional eligibility requirements will be noted on their course and/or program pages.
4. INDIVIDUAL STUDENT ACCESS AND ACCOUNT SHARING
Access to Prophet Scholar Academy courses, certifications, and related materials is for the enrolled student’s individual use only. Access may not be shared, transferred, assigned, resold, or used by any other person.
Only the enrolled student may complete coursework, submit assignments, take quizzes or assessments, participate in course activities, or receive a certificate, credential, or other completion recognition.
Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that an account is being shared, transferred, or used by someone other than the enrolled student.
5. COURSES, CONTENT, AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
The Academy may offer video lessons, written lessons, downloadable resources, quizzes, assignments, certificates, live sessions, community discussions, coaching, or other educational materials. The specific items included with a course or program will be described on the applicable course page, checkout page, or enrollment page.
We may update, revise, improve, replace, reorganize, or remove course content from time to time. We may also correct errors, change course titles, modify lessons, add or remove supplemental materials, or adjust course structure when we believe doing so improves the Academy or is otherwise appropriate.
All Academy content is provided for educational and informational purposes. The Academy does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, mental health, professional counseling, or other professional advice. You should seek advice from a qualified professional for matters requiring professional judgment outside the scope of educational ministry training.
6. BIBLICAL, THEOLOGICAL, AND MINISTRY TRAINING DISCLAIMER
Prophet Scholar Academy teaches from particular biblical, theological, and ministry perspectives. Students may agree or disagree with portions of the content, interpretation, application, or emphasis presented in a course. Purchasing a course does not guarantee that you will agree with every lesson, conclusion, or recommendation.
Disagreement with any biblical, theological, and ministry perspective offered in a course is not grounds for a refund. The student must investigate the course materials thoroughly to determine if it provides the perspective desired before the course is purchased.
We do not guarantee any particular ministry result, church growth result, employment opportunity, ordination, licensing, denominational acceptance, academic credit, professional credential, or financial outcome. You remain responsible for evaluating and applying course content in light of Scripture, conscience, church leadership, denominational standards, local law, and your own circumstances.
7. CERTIFICATES AND ACCREDITATION
General
If the Academy offers a certificate, badge, completion record, or similar acknowledgment, it means only that the student has satisfied the Academy requirements stated for that course or program. Unless expressly stated in writing by us, Academy certificates are not academic degrees, state licenses, ordination credentials, professional licenses, government-recognized credentials, or accredited college or seminary credits.
Completion credit, certificates, and certifications are available only to the enrolled student and are subject to the individual-access and account-sharing restrictions stated in these Terms.
Authority to Deny Certification
We may refuse, withhold, suspend, or revoke a certificate if we determine, in good faith, that a student violated these Terms, shared an account, misrepresented identity or completion, plagiarized work, abused the refund process, reversed payment improperly, failed to satisfy course requirements, publicly renounced the Christian faith, publicly advocated beliefs or conduct materially inconsistent with the Academy’s published Statement of Faith, misused the certificate, was convicted of or found responsible for serious legal or moral misconduct, or engaged in conduct that substantially undermines the integrity expected of those representing completion of the Academy’s training.
When practical, we will make reasonable efforts to review the matter fairly before revoking a certificate, which may include giving the student an opportunity to respond. However, we may suspend or revoke a certificate immediately when necessary to protect the integrity of the Academy, its students, its ministry partners, or the public.
Certificate Integrity Standards
For purposes of issuing, maintaining, suspending, or revoking a certificate, “integrity expected of those representing completion of the Academy’s training” includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Truthfulness and honesty. The student must not misrepresent his or her identity, course completion, ministry experience, academic background, credentials, assignments, or certificate status.
- Doctrinal consistency. The student must not publicly renounce the Christian faith or publicly advocate beliefs, teaching, or conduct that are materially inconsistent with the Academy’s published Statement of Faith.
- Moral and personal conduct. The student must not engage in serious misconduct that brings substantial concern upon the student’s fitness to represent completion of the Academy’s training, including conduct involving dishonesty, abuse, violence, sexual misconduct, exploitation, harassment, fraud, or other serious wrongdoing.
- Legal misconduct. The student must not be convicted of, plead guilty to, or be found responsible for a crime or serious misconduct that, in the Academy’s good-faith judgment, materially affects the student’s fitness to hold or represent the certificate.
- Misuse of the certificate. The student must not use the certificate in a misleading way, including representing it as an academic degree, government license, ordination, denominational endorsement, professional license, or other credential that the Academy has not expressly granted.
- Respect for Academy materials and community. The student must not unlawfully copy, distribute, sell, teach from, or misuse Academy materials, or engage in abusive, threatening, deceptive, or disruptive conduct toward the Academy, its instructors, students, ministry partners, or representatives.
Possible Restricted Certifications
Students are responsible for reviewing all eligibility requirements before purchasing or enrolling in a certification program. If a student enrolls in a course or program for which the student is not eligible to receive certification, the Academy may deny certification even if the student completes some or all course content. Refunds, if any, will be governed by the Academy’s Refund Policy.
Based on the Academy’s doctrinal and biblical convictions, some certificates may be offered to men only. The CBRS Baptist Church Revitalization Certification is one example. This certification is a ministry-training certification designed for qualified men preparing for leadership in Baptist church revitalization. Because this certification represents the Academy’s theological and ministry endorsement for church leadership responsibilities that the Academy believes Scripture reserves for qualified men, CBRS certification is available only to men who satisfy all doctrinal, conduct, course-completion, and eligibility requirements. Additional programs or courses with similar eligibility requirements may be created in the future. Any program or course will be identified as such on its course and/or program pages.
8. ACCOUNTS, PASSWORDS, AND ACCESS SECURITY
You may be required to create an account to purchase or access courses. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission or if your password has been compromised.
Each account is for one individual student only unless we expressly approve a group, church, organizational, or multi-user license in writing. You may not share your username, password, course access, downloads, or other account credentials with any other person.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission or if your password has been compromised.
9. PAYMENTS, PRICING, TAXES, AND PAYMENT PROCESSORS
Course prices, subscription fees, payment-plan amounts, taxes, and other charges are displayed at checkout or on the applicable sales page. Payment is due at the time of purchase unless a payment plan, subscription, invoice, or other arrangement is expressly offered and accepted.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, LearnWorlds Payments, or other providers. We do not control those third-party services and do not directly store complete credit card numbers or full banking credentials unless expressly stated otherwise. Your payment may also be subject to the payment processor’s terms, privacy policy, fraud-prevention procedures, and billing rules.
We may change prices, discounts, promotions, payment options, and course availability at any time. Price changes do not require us to refund prior purchases or extend prior promotional offers, except where required by law or expressly stated in writing.
10. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT PLANS
General
If we offer a subscription, membership, installment plan, or recurring payment plan, the billing amount, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be stated at checkout or in the applicable offer. By enrolling in a recurring plan, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge the payment method on file for the recurring amounts shown at checkout.
Cancellations of Subscriptions and Payment Plans
Cancellation of a subscription stops future charges only if completed according to the stated cancellation method and before the next billing date. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, cancellation does not create a refund for prior charges, partial months, unused access, or previously delivered digital content.
Future charges for course or certification monthly payment plans cannot be canceled, except as identified in the Refund Policy section of these Terms.
Payment Failures
If a payment fails, is reversed, is disputed without valid basis, or remains unpaid, we may suspend or terminate access to the course, certificate, account, subscription, community, or related services until the account is brought current.
11. REFUND POLICY
General
Course purchases are generally final because students receive immediate access to digital training materials, including videos, written materials, downloads, and other course content.
If a payment-plan cancellation or refund request is approved, Prophet Scholar Academy may terminate the student’s course access and cancel any remaining scheduled payments. Previously paid amounts will not be refunded.
Course purchases are generally final because students receive immediate access to digital training materials, including videos, written materials, downloads, and other course content.
Prophet Scholar Academy does not provide refunds merely because a student changes his or her mind, lacks time to complete the course, disagrees with the course content after purchase, fails to review the course description before enrolling, or decides the course is no longer needed.
Hardship Policy
Prophet Scholar Academy may, in its sole discretion, consider a refund request in cases involving extraordinary circumstances outside the student’s control, such as a death in the immediate family, a serious illness or emergency, an unexpected loss of employment or ministry position, or an accidental purchase of a course for which the student is not eligible. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be granted.
To be considered, a refund request should be submitted within 7 days of purchase and must explain the circumstances supporting the request. Prophet Scholar Academy may deny a refund request if the student has completed a significant portion of the course, downloaded substantial course materials, received a certificate, or otherwise made substantial use of the course content. Refunds will also be provided where required by law.
Eligibility Requirement Refund
If a student accidentally purchases or enrolls in a course or certification program for which the student is not eligible under the published eligibility requirements, the student may request a refund within seven (7) days of purchase, provided the student has not completed more than ten percent (10%) of the course/certification, downloaded substantial materials, received a certificate, or otherwise used the program in a manner inconsistent with an honest enrollment mistake.
Payment Plans
Some courses or certifications may be offered with a payment plan. A payment plan allows a student to purchase the full course or certification by dividing the total purchase price into a set number of scheduled payments.
A payment plan is not a month-to-month subscription, membership, rental, or trial. By selecting a payment plan, the student is purchasing the full course or certification and agrees to pay the full purchase price according to the payment schedule presented at checkout. The first payment is due at the time of enrollment, and course access begins after the first payment is successfully processed.
Because students receive immediate access to digital training materials, payment plans may not be canceled merely because a student changes his or her mind, lacks time to complete the course, disagrees with the course content after purchase, fails to review the course description before enrolling, or decides the course is no longer needed.
A student may request cancellation of remaining payment-plan obligations only under the limited circumstances described in our Refund Policy, such as extraordinary hardship or where required by law. Submitting a cancellation or refund request does not guarantee approval.
If a payment-plan cancellation or refund request is approved, Prophet Scholar Academy may terminate the student’s course access and cancel any remaining scheduled payments. Previously paid amounts will not be refunded.
If a scheduled payment fails, Prophet Scholar Academy may suspend or restrict access until the account is brought current. Failure to complete scheduled payments does not automatically cancel the purchase or remove the student’s obligation to pay amounts owed under the payment plan.
Requesting a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the Contact Page within the applicable refund period and must include the student’s name, email address used for enrollment, course name, purchase date, and reason for the request. We may review course progress, download activity, certificate status, account activity, and prior refund history before approving or denying a refund request.
Refund Payments
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or payment platforms. Any refund we provide is limited to the amount actually paid to us for the applicable course or service, excluding any fees or charges that are non-refundable under the payment processor’s rules or applicable law.
12. COURSE ACCESS AND PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, students receive access to purchased courses for a limited time, generally 12-24 months, as long as the student’s account remains in good standing. We do not promise “lifetime access” unless that exact term is expressly stated in writing for a specific course or offer. Access timeframes can be found on individual course pages.
We may temporarily or permanently interrupt access because of maintenance, updates, outages, security issues, platform changes, third-party service failures, discontinued courses, business changes, or events outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
If we discontinue a paid course, we may, at our discretion, provide continued access for a transition period, replace the course with similar content, offer a credit, or take another reasonable step. Nothing in this section limits our right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, nonpayment, fraud, account sharing, or misuse of the Academy.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LIMITED STUDENT LICENSE
The Academy and its courses, videos, audio recordings, written lessons, handouts, quizzes, assignments, graphics, logos, curriculum, course structure, downloads, worksheets, slides, text, and other materials are owned by Prophet Scholar Academy or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
When you purchase or enroll in a course, we grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access and use the course materials for your own personal education and training, subject to these Terms. This license does not transfer ownership of any content or intellectual property rights to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, record, download except as expressly permitted, distribute, share, upload, post, transmit, publish, sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, teach from, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit Academy materials without our prior written permission. You may not use one student account to train a group, church, class, ministry team, or organization unless we have expressly approved a group or organizational license in writing. Courses termed “group training courses” are automatically granted a group license for viewing and use.
14. TRADEMARKS AND ACADEMY NAME
Prophet Scholar Academy, associated logos, course names, slogans, graphics, and branding are trademarks, service marks, trade names, or proprietary identifiers of Prophet Scholar Academy or its licensors. You may not use our name, branding, logos, or confusingly similar marks in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or approval without our prior written permission.
15. STUDENT CONTENT, ASSIGNMENTS, COMMENTS, AND TESTIMONIALS
The Academy may allow students to submit comments, questions, assignments, discussion posts, testimonials, reviews, files, messages, images, or other content (“Student Content”). You are responsible for your Student Content and represent that you have the right to submit it.
By submitting Student Content, you grant Prophet Scholar Academy a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, transmit, moderate, excerpt, and use that Student Content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, teach, administer, and promote the Academy. If we wish to use your name, image, or testimonial in public marketing beyond normal course or community display, we will obtain any consent we believe is appropriate under the circumstances.
We may remove, edit, decline, or restrict Student Content that we believe violates these Terms, infringes rights, disrupts the Academy, harms other students, contains spam, or is otherwise inappropriate for the Academy environment.
16. COMMUNITY CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED USES
You agree to use the Academy in a respectful, lawful, and appropriate manner. You may not harass, threaten, defame, abuse, impersonate, spam, exploit, or intimidate other students, instructors, staff, or third parties. You may not post obscene, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, illegal, or malicious content.
You may not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape content, hack the platform, introduce malware, overload systems, reverse engineer course technology, interfere with the Academy’s operation, use another person’s account, misrepresent your identity, or use the Academy for unlawful, fraudulent, commercial, or unauthorized purposes.
Theological disagreement, respectful debate, and sincere questions are permitted. Personal attacks, disruptive behavior, bad-faith argument, repeated off-topic posting, and conduct that undermines the learning environment are not permitted.
17. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS
If you believe that content available through the Academy infringes your copyright, please contact us through our Contact Page with enough information for us to identify the material and evaluate your concern. Your notice should include your contact information, a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, and a statement that the information you provide is accurate.
If the Academy allows user-posted content or file uploads, we may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate. If your business needs formal Digital Millennium Copyright Act safe-harbor protection, consult a qualified attorney about designating and registering a DMCA agent before publishing these Terms.
18. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, LINKS, AND TOOLS
The Academy may rely on or link to third-party services, platforms, websites, payment processors, hosting providers, email tools, video tools, analytics providers, social media platforms, or embedded content. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, security, performance, fees, or practices.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, and charges. You are responsible for reviewing those terms before using third-party services connected to the Academy.
19. PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATIONS
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is posted separately on the Academy website. By using the Academy, you agree that we may collect, use, store, and process personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
By creating an account or purchasing a course, you consent to receive transactional and administrative communications related to your account, purchases, courses, certificates, payments, security, and updates to these Terms. You may also have the option to subscribe to or unsubscribe from marketing emails as provided by law and by the email tools we use.
By creating an account or purchasing a course, you consent to receive transactional and administrative communications related to your account, purchases, courses, certificates, payments, security, and updates to these Terms. You may also have the option to subscribe to or unsubscribe from marketing emails as provided by law and by the email tools we use.
20. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account, course access, community access, certificate eligibility, certification eligibility, or use of the Academy if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, failed to pay amounts owed, shared, transferred, assigned, resold, or allowed another person to use your access, permitted someone other than the enrolled student to complete coursework, submit assignments, take assessments, or seek a certificate or certification, abused the refund process, filed improper chargebacks, infringed intellectual property rights, disrupted the Academy, or created risk for us, other students, or third parties.
Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. We may treat activity under a student’s account as activity by that student unless we determine otherwise. We are not required to provide course credit, completion recognition, certificates, or certification credentials if we reasonably believe the work was completed by someone other than the enrolled student or in violation of these Terms.
Termination or suspension does not waive any rights we may have and does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law or expressly approved by us in writing. Sections concerning payment obligations, intellectual property, student content licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution survive termination to the extent reasonably necessary.
21. DISCLAIMERS
The Academy and all courses, materials, content, downloads, community features, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and course suitability for your particular goals.
We do not warrant that the Academy will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, free from harmful components, or compatible with every device, browser, internet connection, or software setting. We do not warrant that any course will meet your expectations or produce any particular personal, ministry, church, academic, financial, or professional result.
22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prophet Scholar Academy, Wes Moore Enterprises, and their owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, instructors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-data, business-interruption, reputational, ministry, church, or similar damages arising out of or related to the Academy, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Academy, a course, a purchase, or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim during the six months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
23. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Prophet Scholar Academy, Wes Moore Enterprises, and their owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, instructors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the Academy, your Student Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your unauthorized use or distribution of Academy materials.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be effective when posted on the Academy website or when otherwise provided to you, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the Academy after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
If a change materially affects a course you already purchased, we will make reasonable efforts to apply the change fairly. However, we may make immediate changes when necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, platform operation, payment processing, intellectual property protection, or protection of students and staff.
25. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to the Academy are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact us through our Contact Page and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
Unless otherwise required by law, any lawsuit or court proceeding arising out of or related to the Academy or these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Berkeley County, South Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary or preliminary relief to protect intellectual property, confidential information, platform security, account integrity, or misuse of Academy materials.
26. MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms, together with any Privacy Policy, refund terms, checkout terms, course-specific terms, and other policies expressly incorporated by reference, form the agreement between you and us regarding the Academy. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later. You may not assign or transfer your account, course access, or rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, change of platform, or transfer of the Academy business.
