Apologetics 101 Syllabus (APO-101)

Welcome to APO-101 Apologetics 101: An Introduction to Defending the Faith. I am thrilled to have you in the course. Let me introduce myself. I am Dr. Wes Moore, founder of Prophet Scholar Academy.

This course comes out of nearly 30 years of studying and using apologetics out in the world (with the lost) and in the church (with the saved). It is truly one of my favorite topics, and one of the most important for the church today.

This powerful course provides a big-picture overview of what apologetics is, where Scripture commands it, and how it assists in both reaching the lost and preserving the faith of believers. You’ll also be guided through its major components, brief answers to popular apologetics questions, and a four-step process to teach it.

In this section, I want to give you a thumbnail of what is covered in the course itself, how it is set up, and how to get help if you need it.
